This box was made from reclaimed mahogany and red alder. While taking the Joinery and Cabinet Making program at North Island College in Port Alberni, BC, Canada, I decided to make a jewlry box out of the practice dovetail joints that we were required to make.

I like the looks. Very attractive. But,how do you open the box?
Very cool. I like the tricky-looking, yet straightforward top, as well as the functional and interesting trays inside. An eyecatching piece. Well done!
