This table was entirely constructed from cherry scraps. The drawer case and stand are slats that have been beveled and joined at the edges. The curved surfaces were smoothed with a scrub plane on the inside and a block plane on the outside. Curved sanding blocks were used for final sanding. The top has a hand-planed edge detail with oil base poly as a finish. The sap wood streaks added character to the table and were left alone.
