Milwaukee to Host Fine Furnishings Show
Producers of Fine Furnishing Show Providence head west for second eventFine Furnishings is heading to the Midwest.
Organizers of the popular Fine Furnishings Show in Providence, Rhode Island, announced this month that it is adding a second show to the roster to take place next year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Milwaukee’s two-day event will feature nearly 150 exhibitors who make custom furniture in a wide variety of styles and materials, as well as handcrafted home accessories and fine art. It is open to the public and to the trade.
KL Communications, Inc. out of Newport, Rhode Island, is the organizer of the Fine Furnishings Shows. It launched its first event in Providence in 1996.
“It is exciting to announce our second fine furnishings show,” Karla Little, president of KL Communications, said in a statement. “After two years of research identifying cities, it became clear that Milwaukee was the best location choice.”
The Fine Furnishings Milwaukee Show will take place on Sept. 23 and 24, 2006, at the Midwest Airlines Center. Admission is $12 for one day or $18 for 2 days. The Providence show opens a month later on Oct. 27 through Oct. 29.
