This project had 4 objectives:
1) learn wood shaping (legs, feet, wings)2) veneer over tricky mouldings (lower drawer & aprons)
3) interesting mechanicals (slide out arms from marquetry image)
4) use new materials (acrylic wings)

Woodman, purveyor of curved shapes and defender of abstract ideas. Inspired in part from Dale Lewis (design book 6?), this was my first and only attempt at wood shaping.
