Garage Bench

We needed a bench in the garage for taking off shoes and boots. This garage bench was designed to fit the space adjacent to the house door. The curved end allows the bench to be right outside the house door without getting legs banged by the bench.
The bench is made out of left over cedar planks with big leaf maple protecting the outside edges and accenting the joined top.
The racks underneath are all lap joints along with the legs and cross arms. The finish is shellac on the top and boiled lindseed oil on the bottom.
