Woodworker: Gordon Meinecke
Constructed out of pine and birch-veneer plywood, this carrying case features a built-in drawer, a metal strip of clips to accommodate extra tools, and a felt-lined fold-down tray that protects and securely stows the tools. The drawer front is decorated with Swiss, Austrian, and German stocknaegel-pins (fastened by hikers to their walking sticks to show where they have been). The case has a clear lacquer finish.
