knock down hanging wall shelf
I was inspired by Neil Lamens’ Furnitology video blog of July 18, 2007 and by Ron Lattner’s Fine Woodworking gallery photos of his Breyer horse display shelf. The wood is wormy chestnut that I recieved from a friend who was remodelling his dinning room that had wainscoting made from the wormy chestnut. It is about 32 inches tall, 23 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. Disassembled it is 32x7x9. The finish is BLO and wipeon polyurethane. A french cleat is used to hang it from the wall.

nice job!
I worked on a vintage cabinet that decided to break it into parts and used the good parts for a hanging storage rack. It was easy to do. I just redecorated it a little bit and made a little adjustments for it to fit my home.
