Just an FYI. In a recent FWW mag there was an article about using CAD to design furniture. I decided to buy the top rated DesignCAD 3D MAX V14. I found out there is a V15 out and I could buy the V14 closeout for $19.95, no kidding. This is via the Internet at http://www.nothingbutsoftware.com You may see this listed at $34.95, and if you select to put it in your shopping cart it will show as $19.95

Looks like whatever they had, it's gone. Only V15 is listed now.
V14 is still listed as available, at $19.95.

OK, found it. Had to look under "Titles" to find it...
Dick, there was quite a bit of discussion about what kind of user's manual-type info came with V. 14. Have you gotten your copy yet? What kind of tutorial does it have?

I ordered yesterday, and cannot confirm content of package. It is my belief this is the standard retail offering that includes a tutorial CD. I presume the reason for the deep discount is the newer V15 version is now out and they want to clear inventory of older product. I will post when I receive the product.

Forestgirl, I went back to the site where purchased and the product discription says it includes a training CD. Follow this link and read the details.

I posted a few weeks back to let everyone know the status of the three DesignCAD training CDs mentioned in the article. To recap this post (19412.1): It turns out the product comes with one training CD and sells the other two. The manufacturer included all three with our order for the review but actually sells them at an additional cost. Matt Berger
