Tim, that is a Beautiful piece. I will try making the lumbercore ply. What type of vacuume system do you use? I’ve been wanting to try veneering.

Thank you, Jim! I have an old vacuum pump from Mercury Vacuum Systems, but they are no longer in business. Vacuum Pressing Systems in Maine make some nice units, as well as other companies. You don't need a vacuum pump for smaller scale projects. For a number of years I used clamps and cauls, and it worked fine.
