The pull knobs are inscribed with "Faith", "Hope", and "Love". The Inlayed heart on top has a scripture from 1st Corinthians
The heart is removable and held the engagement ring. Will you Marry Me is inscrbed on it. The proposal date is inscribed in the bottom of the drawer.
The plaques are insrcibed with a poem that Kevin had written.
Kevin wanted the plaques removable so they can be displayed on easels.
I didn't realize that bubinga is as hard as it is till I hand cut the dovetails.

A friend of mine, Kevin Butler wanted his marriage proposal to be special. He brought me some rough sketches and as we worked together on the design, this is what evolved. It is made of bubinga, ebony, and birch. The inscriptions were done by Lindell Valentine of PJ Works in Keithville, La. The wedding was on March the 7th this year so I guess it worked.
