"The Bovine String Quartet...," four 'cowboys' playing mandolin, violin, guitar and bass.  The 'players' are hand carved, with each instrument carved to scale and is played by a combination of levers and specially designed discs that are turned by a small electric motor...The 'campfire' has a small blinking light bulb that gives the 'fire' a certain flicker.   It has a small speaker that can be hooked to a cassette player.   Carving was done with a Dremel tool.
