While trolling YouTube , we came across this classic vocational-education film that documents the life of a woodworker circa 1940. Produced before the start of World War II, and written by a faculty member at Iowa State College, the film is part of the "Your Life Work" series.
As you would imagine, the film is quite dated in content, but it still gives a neat overview of how plywood is made (or at least was made) and how certain techniques in the woodworking and carpentry trades were accomplished before portable power tools and air nailers were the norm.
And for those of us who remember this movie when it wasn't a rerun, there's a nice dose of nostalgia in it.

Hey! Here's a bad idea! Let's outsource the education (indoctrination) of our children to the government, which is owned by private international bankers.
TRUST THE BIG MACHINE! It will teach our children to find gainful employment and security. All they have to do is go to school, work hard, make babies, and never, ever think for themselves or read. That way, we can have a glorious New World Order for the benefit of its owners.
In retrospect, this propaganda film shows us what THE POWER has been doing to us for over a century; molding us like soft clay. The methods, technology and production-value have improved, but the motive is the same... OBEY!
Money is fiction.
People are real.
Art is truth.
