I produced this shelf for an architect to use in his personal residence. I used shop sawn veneers or walnut and quarter sawn white oak over a MDF torsion box substrate. The shelf is held together with threaded rods and hangs from the wall on hidden shelf supports from Hafele. Originally intended to be a book shelf the client has decided to use it show off some of his cookware.
