Under the bed can be used as a trundle or a toy box.

Headboard has small portholes in the top and side.

Close up on some porthole mirrors added to side rail. Finished with a faux copper look.

This is a boat bed the we created in September 2012. It features a toybox at the bow (front), bookcase headboard, and a pull-out trundle. The trundle was actually modified to be use as a large toy box. We added sides and a bottom. Both of these can be removed if the customer decides they would like to go back to using it as a trundle.

The portholes were painted in a copper faux finish. I think that the copper went well with the black.
