Smoothing Plane

Woodworker: Stephen Thomas

Thomas, a plane enthusiast, made this round-sided smoothing plane out of cocobolo, brass and stainless-steel fittings. The plane also features gunmetal sides, a ductile-iron sole and an A2 steel blade. The plane has an oil and wax finish.
