Woodworker: Michael Flaherty
Though Michael Flaherty does believe that a tool should perform flawlessly, he also believes in adding a personal touch. “Wood,” says Flaherty, “is a living, breathing, vibrant material that has its own life, personality, beauty, and humor.” Flaherty’s creativity when desiging and building his planes reminds us all to have a little fun with woodworking.
