Greene-and-Greene-style Writing Desk

Woodworker: Robert BurtonBurton, a student at North Bennet Street School, built this writing desk for a class project. Inspired by the Greene-and-Greene writing desk featured on the front cover of Fine Woodworking #12, Burton used curly cherry, cherry, soft maple and ebony in the desk’s construction. He finished the desk with linseed and tung oils.
