Dining Table
Woodworker: James Schriber
Schriber’s bubinga dining table blends the furniture of French Art Deco designer Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and 17th-century Spanish Baroque furniture. In this piece, the torpedo-shaped legs that Ruhlmann might have used on a cabinet are redesigned to suit a table. To link the legs, Schriber devised an iron stretcher system.
