Woodworker: Allen Arnold
The chest is made of cherry with figured maple drawer fronts and poplar drawer sides. The drawer dividers are dovetailed through the sides of the case, a unique construction method that Arnold had seen at a conference in Williamsburg. A maple cock bead sets off the drawer fronts. The finish is seedlac shellac.
