Buffet

Woodworker: John Percifield

This buffet is made of highly figured curly cherry, cherry, and cherry veneer. To form the curved and veneered side panels, doors and drawer fronts, Percifield used a vacuum press. He had to construct three forms and 12 curved templates. The finish is two coats of linseed oil topped with several coats of varnish.
