I am unable to figure out how you did this. Would you be willing to enlighten me/us? Very unique and interesting.

Thank you. I made a triangle template out of mdf and used it as a guide for my router to remove the wood from the inside of the bowl. Then I used a band saw to cut the outside shape. Then I routed the bottom with a round over bit to create another curve and base. A smaller round over bit was used on the inside and outside of the top and a whole lot of sanding later...
