Ha! I knew it! As soon as I saw the picture of this beautiful piece I knew that it was not made by the father of a newborn. As the dad of young twins, I am lucky to have the time to sweep the dust off my shop floor much less make something as impressive as this piece. You did a great job on the joinery as well as the relative drawer proportions. Your grandkids are lucky to have such a craftsman in the family
Thank you so much for your comment. I actually made two of them one for each son's family. as for skill it is very limited. This web site has been very helpful and fun to read and watch. I am so impressed with this teams abilities and the fact that they reach out beyond there own camp. I love the videos.
Thanks again DustyDave
Very nice job on this chest,,How could I get these plans? What router and jig do you prefer to use?
Chest of drawers Item #109 from "New Yankee Workshop" I use the leigh d-4 jig, I really like the unit, however because I don't use it every day I have to relearn how to use it each time. But the unit does allow for great flexibility in spacing and design of the joint you desire. I hope this answered your ? If not just speak up.
