Built this for my niece, Craftsman Bookcase – Designed in Sketchup, Vertical grain White Oak, with Ebony accents and Black Walnut Breadboards for the shelves and handles – I used a thining technique developed by the Greene Bros to make the thick shelves appear thinner than they actually are – they rocked! – finished with ammonia fuming, sealer, poly and wax . Very loosely based on Woodsmith plan.
