I have a new delta hybrid table saw 10″ 1 3/4 hp. The blade is about 3/16″ off from the front of the blade to the back. I measured from the miter slots and the blade is way off.
I called the company and they sent me some detailed instruction that don’t help. I loosened the bolts and tried to adjust the trunnion and it won’t adjust that far.
Has anyone had this bad of a problem and how did you deal with it? I would send the damn thing back if it was possible.

Send it back. Stand firm with the manufacturer. Don't let them off the hook. They should either replace the saw immediately or send a repairman, with replacement parts to your home.
3/16 is so far out of line that this saw should never have left the factory.

This is why I don't like the hybrids that are basically a contractor saw in disguise. I've been through the cockeyed undercarriage syndrome, it's a P.I.T.A.
Like others If its new rais holy H### with them and keep climbing the chain. Don't accept the first answer. Did you get it mail order?
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
I got the saw mail order with free shipping. it is a 36-716
Well it is what it is, call Delta and like I said they should send someone to fix. I'd also speak to the mail order house. If its a big one, they might be able to help. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

"Has anyone had this bad of a problem and how did you deal with it?" Yes. With a used Jet saw that got dropped as it was being loaded into my van. What happens is the connector bars that run between the trunnions get out-of-square with the trunnions, such that the rectangle formed by the 4 pieces becomes a parallelogram.
I ended up taking the saw to a repairman who does the woodworking machines at the mills around our area. It's not that it's impossible to fix by an amateur, but you have to know how and to this day, I don't really.
I would insist that Delta get a repairman to visit your shop and fix the saw. No other option, other than sending it back and getting another. Unless dgreen can walk you through the procedure.
They had some QC problems with that model. I don't think there's going to be any walking through on this one.
I agree with the send it back if they won't send someone out solution. A machine that the manufacturer says is tedious and time consuming to align in the field would not be my first, second or third choice. Especially a machine as simple as a tablesaw.
Machines will sooner or later need to be adjusted, better to buy one that the proceedure is straightforward.
I'd certainly make them eat the shipping on that one.

During the period of time when I was considering a hybrid, the one's that had that old contractor-saw design in the guts were not on the list. Yuck!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Glad you did your due diligence. :)

"Glad you did your due diligence. :)" Yeah, got me a Unisaw! Nothin' to brag about, really. Just got lucky.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

Yep, I was prepared alright -- had the money in the bank. Saw the ad on Craig's List and was at his door within a couple hours. Only stupid thing I did was not notice he never used the switch while I was there, hence the struggle to try and fix the original, and getting the Grizzly switch to wire into it.
All's well that ends well, though! I love me Unifence too.
And of course, I love retelling the story of how a $5 Inca saw was magically converted to a $750 Unisaw!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
