I have a Delta oscillating spindle sander, I have a hard time keeping the sandling sleeves from slipping on the rubber core. I have tighten them as much as they will go. Are they any tips on keeping the sanding sleeves from slipping up and down.

Are you using the correct drum washers under the bolt?

I believe that I am, I use the one that is just smaller than the drum or the rubber core.
What is the quality of the sanding sleeves? I bought some cheap (50 cents for five) sanding belts for my belt sander and they are about 1/2" too long so they are useless on the belt sander - same problem. If you really want to use them, I suppose you could wrap the drum with tape to effectively increase the diameter. The sleeves should slide on with a little resistance.
