In his article “Smart Shop in a One-Car Garage” Matthew Teague mentions building his shop cabinets out of ultralight MDF. Anyone know who carries this MDF product or where he got it?

How can it be MDF AND ultra light?
Google it- there's a ton of links for Ultralight MDF.
I know--it's an oxymoron. I did Google it and while there's plenty of information, I didn't see any retail sources for it.
If you're going to buy sheet goods, shipping costs make it unreasonable to buy it anywhere except local lumberyards. Call any lumberyard you're willing to drive to. You'd be looking to find one which caters to cabinet shops, not one which caters to contractors.
As an aside, I've tried lightweight MDF, and decided I wouldn't use it again. It is a reasonable product -- flat, and lighter than standard MDF. However, in my dealers it is considerably more expensive than standard MDF. That makes it as expensive as conventional plywood. Plywood weighs about the same as the lightweight MDF. Plywood is stiffer, isn't damaged as easily by water, and screws hold in it. That is, plywood strikes me as a better material.
There's a lumber yard here in Joisey where I've bought the stuff. I'd expect any plywood supplier (to cabinet makers, not a HD-type supplier) to carry it, too. Check around with yards that carry different ply types.
