I think I have my cab saw sold. I want to replace it with the Sawstop cab saw.
Someone told me to stay away because they had too many ajustments to keep saw true and tuned?
Also said switching between regular blade and dado was pain becuase of the stop mechanism?
I am under the impression I can get a 3 hp with 52″ rails for about 3300.00 What did the saw finally cost you, (if you don’t mind saying) shipped?
I am getting rid of my 3 hp Baldor, should I go to the 5 hp to compansate for not being a Baldor motor on the saw stop? Even the Laguna switched to the Baldor mtr.
Any problems with your motor on your sawstop?
Any help would be really great, guy wants to get my saw in 10 days.
I’m a little nervous letting my pm66 go.

I have a 5hp Sawstop. No problmes with any of the adjustments. It stays true and tuned and it seems if any adjustments are required, they are straight forward. Chaning from regular to dado cartridge takes a couple of minutes, about as long to change the blade, maybe less. It is also easy and straightforward. I got a deal on the 5hp or else I would have bought the 3hp. It has plenty of power. Nice saw, no problems.
did you buy yours directly from Saw Stop, or from a too vendor?
I gotta stop listening to people who talk about something they dont know about. thanks for the reply
