Ridgid Jointer Infeed Table Sag
Based on reviews here and elsewhere, I just bought the Ridgid 6 inch jointer. Put it all together, and everything is reasonably parallel, square and true except for the infeed table. It sags over a 1/8th inch. Can anyone recommend some way to correct this on the Ridgid machine? Is this sag just too much to fix? Should I return it?
Thanks

thats a lot of sag give it a once over and if it is still bad take it bag to the orange box and get anotherone. I have the same machine and it is fine (although now I will have to go check it:).

Are there some type of gib screws on the dovetails? Read the manual. They may help a little, but it sounds like you will be taking it back to the store.
I gave it the once over, went through the entire adjustment sequence again and without any shims, I got it where the sag is only about a 1/8 inch. Then I ran several pieces of cleasr pine through it amd wasd able to edge join the board completely flat. Tehn I face joined one of them and got an acceptable level of flatness. I'm not totally happy, but then I guess you get what you pay for.
Thanks for the help.
