Hi All,
Who knows the best way to build a Pea-shooter? I am looking to make a Pea-shooter for 2 1/4″ common nails and one for 1 1/2″ Blue nails? Any Ideas?

1/4" ID steel pipe and a snap tie for the 8d nails.I haven't seen blue nails in a while, the heads are bigger.Go to hardware store and get a piece of pipe and cold rolled steel that will work.Usually can buy the steel in 18" or 36" lengths. The rod should be the length of the nail minus 1/2" for length. I made mine 1 1/2"" less than the pipe to accomadate 6d nails thru 16d nails. All thread will work too but tends to catch sometimes in the pipe. With all thread you can screw a nut on the end, smooth rod won't slip thru after a few beatings, the end will mushroom a bit.
