I need to make some glass cabinet doors . The ones I made in the past were TDL and I used a router bit set to make them. These are jsut one big piece of glass and there is no profile other than a eased edge. I plan on using M&T to construct the frame and then rout the back with a rabbetting for the glass. I would then make some thin stops to haold the glass and pin them. Is this the best way? I remember seeing a recoverable bead glass dooor router set once but never paid much attention to it. I’ll have to look it up and see. Thanks.

I've made several glass doors just like you've described and they've worked out great.
I use either a 1/2" or 3/8" rabetting bit followed by some chisel work to square up the corners.
Thanks! Yeah pretty much what I figured I jsut wanted to throw it out there and see if there was a better way.

Be careful with the chisel work. Too much whacking can mess up the joints if the glue hasn't completely cured. A sharp chisel and a soft touch works best.
