General TS Router Table cast iron wing
The General International sells a cast iron router table insert for their table saws (50-195). I can find no information from their website on it – was wondering what the router attachment is like. If anyone has seen or has one of these, please let me know your thoughts on it. Otherwise I was looking at the Benchdog Router table cast iron wing for a possible addon to my contractor’s saw (50-185).
Thanks, Tom

Tom, I'll call General in the morning and see what I can come up with.

Thanks Tool Guy - I'd be interested to get any feeback on this product. - Tom
Tom, I called General International today:
Part Nr.: 50-195
Application: Fits 50-175/185/200/250 and 260 saws
Desc: Cast Iron Wing with Router Insert.
Your local General Dist should have it for about 95.00 plus shipping so about 150.00 for a single shipped unit. Problem is General will not ship a single unit but instead will ship 3 units for the single shipping price of 50.00. If you don't have two other friends that want one too then your local distr my be reluctant to order it for you. He won't want two special order items laying around if he doesn't have buyers for them. But what the heck, its worth a shot.
The unit looks to be of normal General quality which is usually excellent so I would imagine that it is a fine unit. I don't have one in stock myself so I can't tell you anything more about it then I already have.
The 185's sell like hotcakes (6 this week alone) so I should be able to talk somebody into buying the router attachment. When I do, I'll give you a full report.
Sincerely;
The Tool Guy
Thanks for the info toolguy!! - Tom
