My bandsaw blade moves forward to back while running in other words left to right when viewed perpendicular to the blade. It is an18″ Rikon about 8 yrs old. It’s not a new issue. I’ve talked with the Rikon people and haven’t solved anything so I ve give up on it and use it as is. If there was a place to call for service alls I’d have done it a long time ago. Early on had had some trouble with a timber wolf blade that was a little short and I had to “help ” on. Didn’t notice any issue then but it’s very noticeable now. Any help?

I had encountered same problem with you before. Timberwolf blades have bad weld issues. If you're running bad weld blade, most probably it would move back and forth. Have you checked the wheel alignment too? Not sure if this could help you, but give time to read this http://www.rikontools.com/lowerwheeladjustments.pdf .
Make sure you're putting correct tension on the blade. Try to install a different blade too , check if there's any difference. I'm rusing Haltbar band saw blade 201 Series, I use it for general wood cutting .
