I am in the process of converting an old stone Haybarn.
I have to make 3 large windows for a roman(semi-circular) arched old Hay barn opening.
The opening is 2.5m x 2.5m.
THe architect has divided the shape into 6 panes equally. Does anyone have any ideas on what may look better. (Bottom outside 2 opening)
I have attached a Sketchup model based on the architects solution showing the two openings and the larger opening divided into 9 panes.
I would really appreaciate any feedback. Especially considering the looks.
The barn was built in 1856 (Wales)

Mouldy,
On old work what you see most often is a semi-circular sashbar running from one of the central muntins to the other, with straight bars radiating out from that to the perimeter of the arched top, like the spokes of a wheel, from its hub to the rim.
Or alternatively, pairs of curved sashbars emanating from the tops of the straight muntins, making a series of Gothic arches in the semicircular top.
