Bill.
Also an FYI...Woodcraft has mats at a special $10 each...about 10 sq.ft. each. I put down a few Dri-Cote squares (2x2) they cost $1.25...
I picked up some matts at pep boys. They were pretty inexpensive seems like I did all of the standing area in my shop for under $50. They come in packages and you piece them together however you need.
Nuts...Where were you when I was looking for these darn things???
Next time I'll ask. Where ndid you get the Dri-Cote? Did you put them under the mats? If so it must be about a inch step up but I'll bet its nice on the feet and legs. I need something my feet are a real problem.
Thanks
BD
Bill,
You may have gotten the best thing, I'm trying out the Dri-cote but will not fully decide until after the winter. I picked up the Dri-cote at Home Depot. My objective was to reduce the cold and hardness of the concrete floor. I noticed after several hours in the shop, in winter, my legs are cold up to the knees and will not warm up for hours. The Dri-cote puts a layer of air between the concrete and the plastic under the wood...I have thick rubber soled shoes..it seemed to me more rubber(ie. rubber mats) might not be as effective as the Dri-cote approach...we'll see. I hope it does work, it's nice having the wood under foot and the price is reasonable..
