Nonslip Push Stick
When I used my ordinary push stick on a tablesaw, I had good control in the north/south direction but less in the east/west direction, especially when trying to keep small workpieces tight against the rip fence. So I added a nonslip shelfliner strip to the sole of the push stick. The shelf liner grabs the workpiece, giving me more control in all directions.
To attach the liner, first sand the sole of the push stick to help ensure a good bond, then attach the strip with double-sided tape.
