I found a nice piece of wood to use as the drawer fronts. I took a fair amount of planning and coordination to make sure I kept everything in order. But it was worth it.
The whole cabinet carcase and all the drawers are hand cut dovetails. I got quite good at the end. The drawers run on runners and that was quite a bit of work and very nervy to cut the groves after all hard work.
This is front of the cabinet. I used 1/2 inch ply front and back.

After buying a new set of Narex chisels I decided I needed a nice tool cabinet. So I set out to make one. I then re-read Tolpin's tool cabinet book and decided on a plan. So here is my tool cabinet it took over 120 hours. And is made from poplar and finished in Danish Oil the first coat had oak tint in it. I had in stock and the poplar was very white so I decided to add some color to it.
