This is our new kitchen. All the panels for the outside  of the cabinets and the doors were made from an old barn  from 1860 approx that had to be torn down on the property. Instead of just bulldozing it we decided to take it down and keep what we could. so Far we've made an arbor and kitchen cabinets, bookcases,a chicken coop and many more upcomiing projects....most of it was oak, the beams in the top of the roof were Tamarack so those were used for the arbor. Neighbors who are elderly like to come by and see the updates made from the barn scraps and talk about when there were hogs living in the barn in the 40's and later calves.
