71-year-old Del, who bears an uncanny likeness to Santa, describes the machine in this video as "The Nightmare I Built". Made entirely of wood and free of fasteners, the rig is a mind-blowing collection of gears, levers, cranks and cams. As far as I can tell, it doesn't really do anything, except demonstrate a man's amazing mechanical gift. I guess that's what makes it so fun.
