Solid teak top with teak slatted doors to help with ventilation outside

This is a solid hardwood cabinet I built for my outdoor kitchen.  There isn't one piece of plywood or veneer in this.  Measures 6'6x3' and weighs about 600 lbs.  The top, drawer insides and cabinet slats are teak.  The framework, drawer fronts and door frames are melina.  I'm thinking about changing the drawer fronts to teak for better contrast

It doesn't sound like you would need any help if you want to remodel your indoor kitchen, but if anyone reading this is looking for a shortcut, you can order pre-made kitchen cabinet kits from http://kitchencabinetdepot.com/. Kitchen cabinets of solid wood and plywood construction with NO PARTICLEBOARD. They use the same materials that are used in all high-end kitchen cabinets.

In my humble opinion, you should keep the drawers like this, because it might be loud on the eyes, perhaps, maybe add inlays or decoration if you want to add some spice to the drawers. But I can't see in your head, your idea might be great also.

Respects.
