Sculpted and curved waterfall bubinga case and drawers appear to float on a fiddleback maple stand with carved calla lily legposts.

Patinated copper back, marquetry and inlay throughout, removable jewelry box, embellished drawer bottoms, brass and ebony pulls.

bubinga, maple, ebony, copper, brass, sterling silver, pearl,abalone, marquetry veneers: maple,pau amarillo, nara, spanish cedar.

After seeing this piece, I'm inspired to do a similar treatment on the upper posts of a potting bench I'm designing. Assuming, of course, I can carve...haven't tried it yet :)
