Here is my version of the new necessity for the modern household: a gadget charging station. This one incorporates a mail sorter/bill box (upper left), a cubby for wallet and watch (upper right), a pull-out drawer for pocket change (below the cubby), and, behind the doors, 3 shelves for the power strip and electronic gadgets.
It's all solid maple with zebrawood veneer drawer front and door panels. It's hung with a french cleat.
