Eucalyptus and cypress cabinet
This cabinet was Inspired by Japanese architecture and aesthetics, which emphasize the use of shadows. Designing the cabinet around a similar concept, Anjali created the overhanging top, various shadow lines, and a play of light and shadow, which inspired a small window at the back. The window grid was inspired by pinjrakari, the Indian craft of making intricate patterns of interwoven wooden laths, often used in windows, doors, partitions, and screens.
