This piece was inspired by Stickley’s Tile Top Table and Mike Pekovich’s Low
Dresser (FWW #248).
It is made from European Ash, which exhibits a warm hue that seamlessly
integrates with the bathroom’s ambiance. With the wavy pattern on the side
panels, I wanted to capture water-like motion, which creates a sense of fluidity.
To tie in the vanity with the shower area, I repurposed leftover tiles as the top
surface, which provides a practical and water-resistant countertop. The ceramic
handles add a contrast to the warm wood tones.
This Vanity is a standout addition to our newly-renovated apartment bathroom.
