A friend pointed out a cabinet in a store that she liked but couldn’t afford to replace a cheapo TV stand that was falling apart. I said I could make one for her. That will teach me! It was supposed to be very basic and plain, like the one in the store, but I couldn’t help myself from adding book matched panels, walnut accents, and other decorative elements. And also, the dimensions changed, along with just about everything else (both the original and mine have legs though). Doors and hinges were very fussy and time consuming, but they turned out well. Primary wood is ash, with walnut accents and a little bit of poplar as a secondary wood. Dimensions – 52″ wide, 30″ high, and 20″deep.
