Shoji Cabinet
This cabinet was built as a study of kumiko patterns typically used in Japanese shoji screens. The doors of the cabinet are covered in a patch-work of patterns creating a composition on the face of the cabinet. The doors are made of Cherry, with Alaskan Yellow Cedar kumiko strips, and handmade paper. The sides of the cabinet is made of beech and the back is made of basswood. Size 30″x30″x 7″
