Oak Chair
The design for this chair is heavily influenced by Hans Wegner’s CH33. I decided to change a few things for my working preferences such as through tenons and not turning the legs. The back is also steam bent instead of laminated. These considerations were taken because I wanted to make as much of this chair as I could by hand. The mortises are hand chopped, the tenons are hand cut, and all of the shaping was done by spokehsave and plane. The finish is a coat of wax, and an oil/varnish blend to protetct.
