My first segmented bowl

This bowl project was my first segmented bowl. The project was to be a wedding gift for my nephew and his wife as their wedding gift. Little did I know that wanting to give them something unique would take this form. After watching numerous videos and attending a segmented bowl turning class in New Hampshire, I was off and running. Three weeks of glue up rings of maple, walnut and cherry and over 350 and fifty pieces later the bowl emerged. Finished with ting oil and Beal buffing compounds.
The was hand delivered to my nephew and his bride in Germany.
