Tailgating Steamer Chest Bar

This is a “Tailgating Bar” – a scaled down version of a Steamer Chest Bar designed to sit on a table or tailgate. The case is of African Mahogany with Cherry panels. The leather straps serve as handles and the interior is lined with cork for portability. The glass and bar tool racks are of Maple. The glasses are actualy acrylic – for tailgating. The inset doors are Spalted Tamarind. The finger joints, black pegs and rounded edges are obviously inspired by Greene & Greene but the design is my own.
