Asian-style Coffee Table

Woodworker: Allan Smith
The design for this coffee table was taken from an illustration in Gustav Ecke’s Chinese Domestic Furniture (Dover Publications, 1990). Smith chose to build the table out of Phillippine narra. The piece is finished with an aniline stain, an oil-and-polyurethane mixture, and wax.
