Glass top coffee table
Its often difficult for me to design a glass top table, I always think we miss out on the best part- the wood top. Well this design incorporates an etched pattern that throws shadows down on the floor and brings your eye to the cool base. The sweeping end section is made using 1/4″ thick veneer glued to a sub base of poplar stacked up. There is a stepped stretcher that pierces the curve with a generous wedge locking it in place. Bold shapes, glass etchings, dynamo overall design, I guess I can save the wood top for another piece
